There are times in my life when I am dealing with a confrontation, that it can be difficult to express myself.  I have so many ideas of what I want to say at the time that it can be hard.  I try to be as honest as I am able, and give my positive thoughts to others like a ray of sunshine.  Don't get me wrong. I have so many struggles, but I try and that best part...that I try.  I think a positive attitude is half of the battle with some people.  When they are negative, or condescending, I try to take the higher road and do what is right and just.  I know that I won't always have all of the right answers, but with grace and goodwill, I will be better off to effectively express myself and others will be able to know who I really am and what I stand for.

My talents can and should be used to serve the greater good. Sometimes I get wrapped up in everything that I think I need to do and what my friends are doing...but I I shut up long enough and listen, my inner voice is my best guide (think Jiminey Cricket).  I know what I should be doing to make my own path a brighter option. Steering clear of toxic people, drugs and attitudes that will deflect me from my path.  I use my humor often, to direct my way. I think my positive attitude can change my life and the lives of those around me.  I am a smart, caring and respectful person.  I do my best to treat others the way that I want to be treated. 

First of all a good world citizen is something we should all aspire to! I mean, without compassion, values, democracy where would our society be? How can we make the world a better place? Make sure that you are greater than the sums of your worries, that you rise above defeat and that you overcome all obstacles in your way.  Someone told me once that in this harsh and hard world it is very hard to make a deep and important impact on change....how about not letting this cruel world change us? Wouldn't this show that we can go out and do our best and make a difference any way we are able? I think I can...no I know I will.
